Easter Kite Flying fun

Good Friday is traditionally the day to fly kites in St Kitts.

Good Friday kite-flying is reported to have begun with a teacher who employed a kite to explain Christ’s ascension into Heaven to his students.
The tradition is celebrated throughout much of the Caribbean, including St. Kitts and Nevis.
Competitions are held and lots of fun is had by everybody.
